Conference Registration (Full Technical)

Free Short Course Offer for Student Members
Student members of IEEE/ComSoc, IEEE/Photonics Society and OSA may register for free for select Short Courses not yet at capacity after the pre-registration deadline of 19 February 2013. To achieve the full value of attending a Short Course, we encourage these students to pre-purchase Full Color Short Course Notes for $30USD at the time that they register for the course. Short Course Notes are a valuable take-home benefit of attending a course, and these notes are available only to attendees of the course. (Paid attendees receive one copy of the notes.)
Many Short Courses are in high demand—the best way to ensure admittance is to pre-register for the course before it reaches capacity. Free student registration will not be available for Full Day, hands-on courses or courses that are filled before the pre-registration deadline.
Student members are encouraged to visit the registration page after 19 February to sign up for a free Short Course and purchase the corresponding course notes.
Only students who register through the free student offer may purchase notes for the corresponding course, and they are strongly encouraged to pre-purchase notes to ensure availability. Notes must be picked up on-site.
Important Information
Advance Registration Deadline
Payment MUST be received with your registration form or with your on-line registration; NO Registration will be processed without payment. All payments must be in US dollars and drawn on a US bank. Registrations received after 23:59 EST (04.59 GMT), on Tuesday, 19 February 2013, will be charged the on-site rate.
Confirmations
Upon receipt of your registration and payment, a confirmation letter will be e-mailed, faxed or mailed (based on your method of registration) to each registrant within 3 days. PAYMENT ISSUES WILL DELAY PROCESSING OF YOUR REGISTRATION.
Badge Credentials
Your registration confirmation will include a barcode which you will scan on-site at a Quick Registration Station in order to print your badge. Should you forget to bring the barcode with you, your badge can be obtained at the Pre-Registration Counters. Please Note: NO BADGES WILL BE MAILED. Your technical badge represents value. As such, all technical badges can be replaced for a $25 badge reprint fee.
Policies and Terms of Registration
Reasonable policies and terms of registration have been established for OFC/NFOEC 2013. We encourage you to read these carefully as all registrants to OFC/NFOEC 2013 will be required to agree to these policies and terms as a condition of registration.
Privacy Policy
OFC/NFOEC and its sponsors respect the privacy rights of our online visitors and recognizes the importance of protecting all information that you may choose to share with us. To further this commitment, we have adopted this Privacy Policy to guide how we collect, store and use the information you provide to us.
Payment
Credit cards are accepted (VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover/JCB, Diners Club). Payments made by check or money order must be made payable to the Optical Society of America in US dollars and drawn on a US bank. Payment must accompany your registration form in order to process your badge/ticket order. Forms received on or before 19 February 2013, 23:59 EST (04.59 GMT), next day) will be charged the pre-registration fee. Registrations received after 19 February 2013, 23:59. EST (04.59 GMT), next day) will automatically be charged the on-site registration fee.
Refund and Cancellation Policy
All requests for refunds must be received in writing by Tuesday, 19 February 2013. A US $75 service charge will be assessed for processing refunds. All registrations received after Tuesday, 19 February 2013, are NON-REFUNDABLE.
