Show Floor Activities

The OFC/NFOEC exhibit floor is the perfect place to build and maintain professional contacts, and to broaden your knowledge about the companies that lead our industry in product development and technological advances. The activities in the exhibit hall provide networking opportunities and the business acumen of the fiber optics industry.  All events on the exhibit floor are free to the public.

The Exhibit will be held in Halls B1-G of the San Diego Convention Center. The exhibit hours are:

Tuesday, March 24 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Wednesday, March 25 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Thursday, March 26 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

FTTx has moved from field trials with only a handful of users to worldwide deployment that connects millions of users. Visit the FTTx Center and watch this growing technology in action.

OSP/Fiber Technology Showcase

This on-floor theater will feature special presentations and demonstrations on topics of interest in today's fiber optic technology.  Stop by and discuss your specific applications with the OSP instructors that will be performing the tasks, under the direction of The Light Brigade.

Video Theater

Installation and system footage are combined with animations and graphics to give an in-depth look into the world of fiber optics at the Video Theater. New features include fiber-optic devices and connectors and cable management products.

POF Market and Technical Opportunities Presentations

The Plastic Optical Fiber Trade Organization (POFTO) organizes POF Day to review the year’s new industry developments.  POF Day will consist of the Symposium on POF Applications, Technology and Products and a press conference. The POF Pavilion will be open throughout the show.
